From requirements to circuit schematics

Circuit design starts with what the device needs to measure, control or transmit. Together we define inputs, outputs, power supply, accuracy and operating conditions. We translate these requirements into a block diagram and individual circuits.

Component selection considers performance, availability and cost. We also address input protection, power consumption and firmware requirements. For an unusual measurement task, an experiment may be needed to verify the most uncertain part of the design first.

Connecting circuit design with PCB development

The agreed schematics and documentation provide the foundation for PCB design. Mechanical dimensions and access to test points are considered early so that the prototype can be assembled, brought up and tested.

If you need a complete working product, we can continue with PCB design, firmware and testing. We discuss progress and requirement changes throughout the work instead of leaving them to be discovered during prototype production.
